Terms & conditions

Last updated: 07.10.2026. Please read this document before placing an order — using the site and placing an order means you agree to the terms below.

1. Definitions

"Site" means the zitronia.ro online platform, together with all its pages, features and content. "Operator" or "Zitronia" means the entity operating the site, identified in section 2. "User" or "Customer" means any person who accesses the site or places an order. "Order" means the purchase request submitted by the Customer through the site.

2. Who operates this site

Zitronia Marketplace SRL, a Romanian legal entity, VAT No. RO00000000, Trade Registry number J00/0000/2026, with registered office at adresa completă, hereinafter referred to as "Zitronia".

3. Acceptance of terms

By simply browsing the site, you accept the general terms of use. By placing an order, you additionally accept the specific sale conditions below, which together with the order confirmation form the distance contract between you and Zitronia, under Law No. 365/2002 on electronic commerce and Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights.

4. User account

You can place an order with or without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for the confidentiality of your login details and for any activity carried out through your account. Please notify us immediately at contact@zitronia.ro if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Products and information displayed

We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, photos and specifications accurate and up to date. Colors may vary slightly depending on the screen used, and displayed stock may change in real time based on orders processed simultaneously. If an ordered product is no longer available after the order is placed, we will contact you to agree on a solution together — replacement, waiting, or cancellation with a full refund.

6. Ordering process

An order is placed by adding products to the cart and completing the checkout form with correct delivery and billing details. After submitting the order, you receive a confirmation email with its details — this email does not represent acceptance of the order, only confirmation of its receipt. The contract is considered concluded once Zitronia confirms product availability and begins processing the order.

Please carefully check the information entered (address, phone, products, quantities) before submitting the order — subsequent correction is only possible by contacting us, as long as the order has not yet been shipped.

7. Prices and taxes

All prices shown on the site are expressed in RON (LEI) and include VAT at the legal rate in force. Shipping cost is shown separately, before checkout, and is calculated based on order value and delivery area. In the rare case of an obvious pricing error (for example caused by a technical glitch), we reserve the right to cancel the affected order, with notification to you and a full refund of any amount paid.

8. Payment methods

Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout (e.g. online card payment, cash on delivery). Online payment is processed through an authorized payment provider that complies with PCI DSS security standards — Zitronia does not store your full card details.

10. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you benefit from the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days, without needing to justify your decision, under Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014. The conditions, exceptions and exact procedure are described on the Shipping & returns.

11. Legal warranty of conformity

All products sold through Zitronia benefit from the legal warranty of conformity of at least 2 years from delivery, under Emergency Ordinance No. 140/2021. If a product proves non-conforming (defective, different from the site description, malfunctioning), you are entitled to free repair or replacement and, under certain conditions, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. To report a conformity issue, contact us at contact@zitronia.ro, mentioning the order number and a description of the problem.

12. Intellectual property

The "Zitronia" name, logo, mascot, visual identity, texts, photographs and the site's source code are the property of Zitronia or its partners and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Reproducing, copying or using these elements without Zitronia's prior written consent is prohibited.

13. User conduct

Please use the site in good faith. Any attempt to: place fraudulent orders or use false data; interfere with the technical operation of the site (including through automated attacks or mass data scraping); use the site for illegal purposes or in violation of third-party rights, is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend access or cancel orders placed in breach of these rules.

14. Limitation of liability

Zitronia makes reasonable efforts to keep the site running properly, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Zitronia's liability to the Customer is limited to the value of the order in question, except in cases of personal injury, death or fraud, for which the law does not allow liability to be limited.

15. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform contractual obligations if this is due to a force majeure event — an unforeseeable, external and insurmountable event, beyond the parties' control.

16. Changes to these terms

We may periodically update this document to reflect legislative changes or changes to how the site operates. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Orders already placed remain governed by the terms in force at the time they were placed.

17. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disagreement is resolved, where possible, amicably, by contacting us directly. If this is not possible, you may use the alternative/online dispute resolution platforms mentioned in the site footer (ANPC / ODR) or address the competent courts in Romania.
